Great costume and material does fit snug though. The ONLY bad thing about this costume is that you have to remove the whole costume to go to the bathroom there is no fly/zipper in the front. Otherwise its a pretty sweet costume.

although a little sceptical at first in regards to purchasing anything from overseas my concerns were not warranted..i was very pleased with the delivery and the quality of the costumes we had received...once we arrived to the party friends/strangers were asking "where did you get that from?" ...including my wifes costume as she went as (Bat Girl) which looked piping hot on her!..there were two things i added to my costume which was a zip (i'd suggest this to anyone who is interested in purchasing this costume), and also some wire leading from one ear to the other concealed inside the top of the mask...anyway, thanks again Buy Costumes and should i require another costume in future i will have no hesitations in shopping with you guys again...cheers Woodsy...from down under...

this a a great costume for the money! You have to buy the shield and bootcovers seperate, and when you get it, the wings on the head cover won't stand up, so just insert a piece of wire hanger and it works perfect.... it is great looking and lots of fun for photo ops!

Title: Awesome Halloween Purchase!

This was such a cute outfit. It arrived on time as scheduled. The material is thin and stretchy for a secure fit and has a shine to it that is a total eye catcher! It was not scratchy and very comfortable. It is however shorter than I expected so I wore black bathing suit bottoms underneath over my white stockings that I purchased separately. I did do some altering on the back because it has a small velcro button and I didn't want it to come undone during the night. I would recommend this costume to anyone...it's feels very sexy and fun to wear! Hope my review helps! Enjoy :)

Costume fit a little too small for what the size chart said. Gloves weren't included in the package but Customer Service was awesome and overnighted them to me. UPS had mechanical problems and the gloves were delayed in delivery until after Halloween. Had to buy separate gloves- Customer Service was awesome again and reimbursed me the cost for the gloves I bought.

Title: Skirt is VERY short
I bought the small originally, which fit, but the skirt didn't even cover my butt- and I'm only 5'6". The medium is two inches longer, which was better, but then too big on top and still too short to wear in public- it still barely covered my behind. I bought silver leggings to go underneath which looked really cute and kept me warmer.

Title: Exactly what i hoped for!
I was apprehensive to order a costume from overseas as I live in Australia, and wasn't sure if it would be true to size. However, i ordered a medium and it fit me perfectly! The dress and accessories were exactly what i wanted, my only complaint is the dress has one small velcro dot to keep it done up which may as well have not been there. It was easily fixed with some hooks & eyes sewn on. Also the mask is fabric and doesn't sit on the face properly, but overall i felt confident in the costume and it was unique and colourful! Would recommend this costume.

I got this costume for Halloween 2009. Overall I liked it quite a bit. The colors are vibrant and shiny, and it has a nice feminine shape to keep it sexy. I got lots of compliments on it. My only complaint is that the small seems to run a bit too small. I'm a size 4, and I had to hold the back closed with a safety pin.

This costume really was awesome. I went with a bunch of friends, all dressed as super heros, and got a lot of compliments. Some people did think I was wonder woman until I showed them the shield I also purchased. My only complaint would be that the back of the dress is done up with velcro...a zipper or some buttons would have been preferrable.

Title: Very fun costume
Me and my boyfriend were matching Captain Americans and it was a cute couple idea. I'm 5'4, about 120lbs and I got a small and it was def too short, had to wear black tights underneath. I got a long platinum blonde wig that made the whole outfit come together so thats a must. Its a bit overpriced on here but if you can't find your size at your local stores its fair. And thankfully I'm a 34D or else I would not have filled out the top, but I had to cover the side boobage with a white tank top which was easily covered by my wig. See my pic attached! btw my bf bought a teen size and it fit perfectly!

I ordered this Captain America costume for a friends surprise 40th birthday party. The theme is superman/superhero's and I can't wait to wear this costume. The quality is good. I normally might have bought a large but after reading other reviews about size I came down one size. Glad I did. I also bought the childrens size shield and red go-go boots. All are perfect. Hope to post photo later. This is the second time I've purchased from buycostumes.com and always have good success.

Title: Better than I expected
I was very pleased with the costume. You never know how online ordering will turn out...fortunatly this was a positive one. I will say the dress runs true to size I ordered a small I am 5'2" and weigh less than 100lbs it fits well a little loose but certainly wearable. I was surprised( given the other comments I read prior to purchasing ) It is still quite short, not so bad that I cannot wear it for my sons elementary school function...but I would say it is on the shorter side and I'm SHORT !! I also bought the boots If I don't break a leg wearing them they will have been a good investment!! makes the outfit for sure. The shield was unavailable here at the time, but I found one at a local party shop, really pulled the whole look together( I did go with the childrens size otherwise it would have been far to overpowering and awkward to carry). Overall I am very pleased with my purchase. everything arrived as scheduled and in perfect condition. I would reccomend this site to friends in the future.

The costume was a HUGE hit! My husband was Uncle Sam and our daughter went as Super Girl. I got a Med. & Large unsure on how the sizing would run. I wear a women's size 10 and the Med. is a great fit - but I do mean FIT. It's not too low in the front either - just right. It's sexy without being trampy. The large was a looser fit but if you're going for Captain America you're not going for loose. I was expecting the shield though and it was not included. I bought red (above the knee) boots. You really need boots to "finish" the costume.

fits nicely, good material. i will be wearing it outside all day and plan to put underarmour under it. It fits great with and without the underarmour and you can't see lines from where the underamour pants are, even though the dress is fitted around the waist. very cute costume

The Red Skull is a name shared by several fictional characters, all supervillains from the Marvel Comics universe. All incarnations of the character are enemies of Captain America, other superheroes, and the United States in general.
The first two Red Skulls are Nazi agents and the third is a Communist. The Red Skull was first introduced in Captain America Comics #1 in 1941. The first Red Skull (George Maxon) to appear in comics was an American industrialist turned Nazi saboteur. Maxon turned out to be an agent of the true Red Skull (Johann Schmidt), considered (according to S.H.I.E.L.D.) as one of the greatest threats to humanity, and a long-time enemy of Captain America. The third Red Skull (Albert Malik) is best known for causing the deaths of the parents of Peter Parker, and thus orphaning the boy who would become Spider-Man. The Red Skull was ranked number 21 on Wizard Magazine's Top 100 Greatest Villains Ever list and was also ranked as IGN's 14th Greatest Comic Book Villain of All Time
